We have a puncher's chance...I tell ya.
I seem to recall a similar post last week about the lack of support for Pitt. Just sayin'.
What surprises me is that Central Florida is getting no love, despite an opening point spread of a single field goal. Is Maryland just very underrated?

This is the final reminder to get your pick on the Boise-Virginia game in before kickoff (8PM ET). A late pick will be considered an incorrect pick, no matter who wins.

I would like to suggest games between ranked teams be given more consideration. Like TCU OSU this week.

Noted. Given that we include nearly all ACC games against FBS opponents, including several where everyone is going to pick the overwhelming favorite, I try to include other games where the point spread is relatively close. Otherwise, we could see a lot of 13-2 ties. The TCU-OK State spread is 13 points, which is why I didn't include it. Even then, we have six games where everybody picked the same favorite.
Once we get to the point where there aren't many OOC cupcakes on the ACC schedule, it will be easier to include a game like this.
Of course, that being said, we followed up last week's Saturday Night Massacre with an "0-fer Friday", as nobody picked the Cavs to upset Boise. Go figure. Let's hope we all do better today.

Cuse definitely has a chance, LSU was dominated last week. The Tigers don't look as good as Penn State.

I hate to disagree with you Mark, but it aint gonna to be pretty down there for SU. Its going to get REAL ugly. Babers is not a good coach and he doesnt know how to make in-
game adjustments. His whole shtick is having a fast offense. What does he do when a team is able to counter the "Orange is the new fast?" Nothing. Hes out of ideas. SU's defense still stinks and the offense is stagnant with 20 returning players.

RE: ACCbbs Pickem Week 4 is open
Congratulations to Week 4 co-winners, 4X4hokies and lumberpack4. Both went 11-4 in what may have been the tightest weekly game ever. They narrowly beat out 8 other players who tied at 10-5!
Feel free to shower both winners with praise and rep points. Later today I will post the season standings, which are likely to be similarly close. At the same time, I want to float some ideas for changes to the format for you all to consider. So please check back to the forum so you can weigh in with your opinion.
