He walked from that cart to the dressing room. Coach said he's fine.

I was sitting with jj's high school coach. He texted the SID or some such and was told Jj was knocked out. I would presume he will be under a concussion protocol, then, right?

Coach said he will be fine and the staff was just taking extra precaution.

He got clocked.

I was told he's gonna be fine though. When guys go down like that and I see medical Personnel sprint to them it makes me sick to my stomach.

I had to rewind it bc I missed it. Let's just say I only needed to see it once. It was a very strange collision though. I'm just glad he is ok.

If a forearm/shoulder to the neck/head or above the shoulders is legal, then there is a gap in the rules. Most likely a gap in the enforcement.

They didn't show the replay at the game. When I got home I saw it. It was an awkward block. Definitely a launch - not sure if the helmet or shoulders got him above the shoulders.

He was knocked out, but moving his legs after a few seconds, so I felt good. I'm sure he'll be on concussion protocol.
