RE: Week 3 attendance
Really shocked with FAU on 16k. With the storm and students not coming back till Monday being 0-2 I was expecting 10k announced maybe 7k butts in seats.
BC didn't even bring their band nor was ours even there.

RE: Week 3 attendance
next week UtSA will be at Texas St about 35 minutes away and should see about 45k fans. It's hard to get fans there when playing Southern. The game was over in the first quarter & people lost interest midway through the 2nd Q.

UTSA is certainly on a roll. A very BIG ROLL. I see nothing standing between UTSA and an undefeated schedule....at least until Nov 25th. That's when UTSA will meet LA Tech in Ruston. I recommend that all UTSA fans call the LA Tech ticket office and start buying your game tickets now. 04-cheers

Even with the planned stadium rebuild, it looks like our ceiling is 5th best in attendance for the conference 03-drunk

UTSA would be leading the conference had they been able to play the UH game.

I think I heard the next home game will be nearly a month from Saturday's game. If that's correct and The Herd doesn't pick up a couple of road wins before then, attendance might even be worse at the next home game.

Maybe. But definitely was going to be a big crowd. Houston had a bunch of people coming and we would have had a lot

WKU will be at the bottom again next week. Small time opponent, two straight losses, UK 3-0 and playing Florida at the same time. They only thing that MIGHT keep it above 10k is it will be parents and family weekend.

Sorry kids. You gotta get in the back seat where you belong, USM is driving the bus now.

RE: Week 3 attendance
If we can steal a win at UNT that would put us at 3-1 for the first time since 2005 coming into our homecoming game against La Tech. I think we could get a 30k crowd with that scenario.

RE: Week 3 attendance
Some reality checks here. TxSt stadium holds only 30k so no 40k attendance will happen. And at home in the configuration being used this year the max capacity for UTSA is just under 37k. No plans to open the upper deck at the dome.

Edit. Autocorrect correction

I read that they wil offer student seated spots on the sides and behind the goal posts increasing potential attendance to +10-12k from actual capacity.

UH hit 34k a few years ago.
