Tropical Storm Maria is projected to become a major hurricane with 120 mph winds by the time it heads straight into the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico Wednesday. They are projecting that St. John's and St. Thomas will be without power for months because of Irma. 90% of the buildings were damaged. Another major storm would be really bad.
The St. Thomas airport is closed and the docks in St. John's (no airport) are damaged.

Jose meanwhile is projected to mostly stay off the Atlantic Coast, maybe giving Cape Code a little wind and rain in a few days.
