TXST has beaten more FBS teams in OOC games than stAte has since joining the Belt in 2013. 4 (USM, Wyoming, Tulsa, and Ohio) compared to 1 (Utah St).

Wrong again. I have been around for a long time. We won before. You ever win a Southland championship. Yeah little boy football but we won several. You ever win in the 1AA playoffs. We have won several games. I think y'all did get a D2 championship. We have a couple of those...called college division then about the same. So again...You come up short with smack but keep trying....little ones always grow up sooner or later...Lol.

I didn't realize that being confident that your team could compete in the Sun Belt translated to putting down other teams. Maybe putting down GAST and App but there's this thing called a rivalry that some colleges have with each other and they were dishing it right back. I have a hard time finding any other teams GS fans were picking on outside of game week.

I must say, that in my short time on this board, I have found a difference in fan bases when it comes to being humble/respectful and then cocky/annoying. There's goin to be trash talk on here, that's expected, but sometimes it's just irrational, annoying comments. Granted this is just my point of view, and they're those type posters in every fan base, but it does seem that stAte and GS as a whole lean more to the cocky/annoying side.

It's still too early for these rankings. I honestly would have App at 3-4 at the moment due to our struggles offensively. I will say that it appears our easier schedule may not be as easy as once thought. Texas State, NMSU, look be improved, Idaho and ULL look inconsistent but tough when hitting on all cylinders. I'm thinking we are going to get strong efforts from every conference team we play... We've become a bit of a yardstick for many programs that are trying to push to the top.
