Didn't you see our defense???? Hopefully Carey will learn not to get in this team's way by then. Think this was a huge development game for Santa. It was his first huge venue and his nerves showed. He will be much more poised by then. Then again Carey can bench him in favor of Graham...

I just hope Carey and the coaching staff will treat more than 1 drive with urgency. All it took was to value one offensive possession against Nebraska, that wont be good enough vs Toledo

Hopefully, the in-game coaching will get better. It can't get any worse. Nearly cost us again...

MAC beating up on the American tonight, Toledo with dramatic win over Tulsa, and Miami-OH having its way with the Bearcats.

Question is will we progress, develop, improve or regress? We have the talent to do big things, but does our coach seize the opportunities or piss it away like he nearly pissed today's game away???? Grow a pair, coach.

I watched some of that Toledo game...I like a game with a combined 10,000 yards of offense, it keeps your interest.

MD, only you could fear an opposing MAC offense after watching this NIU defense the last 3 weeks

That said I hope these two continue rolling until that late season meetup. Top of the MAC might be decent this year.

Take it Ezzzzz. Toledo played Tulsa......Tulsa's defense is absolute garbage. In 3 games they are giving up an average of 51 points per game. Pretty sure NIUs defense is much better by a landslide. So pump the brakes on your love for everyone other than NIU. Enjoy the big win against Nebraska.

Some pretty epic bed sh!tting going on in Oxford. 11 point lead with 4 minutes left. Cincy cuts it to 3 with 2 minutes left, the Miami return guy touches the ensuing kickoff at the 1 yard line and runs it out to the 5, Miami has a 3rd and 2 which will ice the game if they convert but Coach Martin fails to use his timeout and gets a 5 yard delay of game setting up 3rd and 7 which forces them into a throwing situation, pick 6 Cincy, ballgame. Wow.

Cincinnati wins 21-17. Reached Cincinnati red zone, but could not score.

Hardly having their way and they lost. Plus Toledo barely won at home. Team comparisons aren't even close. USF crushed Illinois. You don't see MAC schools taking care of business and putting away P5 teams like that. We pulls out some wins but usually very close.

Um NIU 55-Purdue 24?
