UTK is the 3rd best school in the state. Right now, it's between us and Vandy. But Vandy will Vandy it up before long.

We've been here for a few years now. It's why Butch has been avoiding us like the plague. Lose to us - and they likely would - and he would be fired and left waiting at the airport.

Sagarin (and thus likely Vegas) would have it as a pick'em on a neutral site, FWIW.

If the Tigers were to perform as well as they did against UCLA, the Tigers beat the bUTtchuggers. For UT it would be about reputation, they are a SEC team who is expected to beat a non Power 5 team. For the Tigers it would be about pride and showing we are not just another team any longer. Let's keep it that way and keep the attendance up near the 50K level. Go Tigers and thank you coach Norvell for being our head coach, and to your staff.

It would be fun to see Riley come back and take his old team down!04-chairshot

All I know is that UT sure would love to have Riley as their QB right about now..

Might end up playing each other in a bowl game.

Talentwise, you'd think that even Butch couldn't mess it up. But that offense is so GD anemic, and Butch's capacity for messing it up has not yet ceased to surprise me.

So yeah, that seems about right.

I don't know that he would have thrived doing whatever it is the Vols are trying to do the way that he has here.

Sagarin still has a lot of preseason bias built into his algorithm. See Stanford, TAMU, LSU, Texas, SDSU, Vandy for examples.
