Herd Defense is good, but needs Offense to step up and put up more than 14 points. That won't be enough against good teams.

Glad to see King break through with a 29 yard TD run. 21-0. Will take the win, but.............

RE: Marshall v. Kent St.
This was the most boring MY game I've ever seen in person, still not as bad as the UCONN bowl game a couple years ago. Three positives though; the defense did great against an offense I thought would give them trouble. First Shutout win against a FBS team for a long time. Finally, King is the real deal at RB. He can make the quick cuts up the field that MU's other backs just can't do. The first series he was in, he cut two great runs through the line.

It wasn't pretty, but...

Marshall 21
Kent State 0
Final

Marshall officially wins the MAC this year.03-lmfao

As CoachMaclid pointed out: The MAC East Champs, now we just have to find our way into Toledo, NIU or even EMU in a bowl to win the MAC

Didnt we smoke FIU 50-0 in 2015?

RE: Marshall v. Kent St.
I was there n the end zone and I saw King from behind the Oline. Not only is he shifty...I mean he can turn on a dime... but he has acceleration AND power....

That being said... I would like to see if he can be that effective in the 1st qtr...

Litton grew a sack and tucked and ran...and lookie what happened?

Chase is still telegraphing passes. A better secondary would have had for sure another pick and possibly two more.

All in all. Good solid win.... need more offense

This is the worst the defense has played all year, possibly because it's getting tired of trying to win the game with so little offensive production. The defense for the first two games was solid, the offense, well, it's coach Legg at his best.

They turned out to be pretty damn good this game. Definition of bend don't break. Let em get into about the 30 yardline several times and slammed the door. Tackles for loss and sacks pushed them back out of field goal range many times by 4th down. Scary good D.
