We have to get better before NIU and Toledo, progress every week. Or we won't have a shot at the MAC. And in the lead up to those games we can't stub our toe with CMU or EMU.

I do like to watch BYU, Harvard and Hillsdale (have to show up, they are never televised) when they play. But my heat bleeds brown and gold and always will.

I am always a passionate Bronco, and always root for WMU against anyone and everyone. But I have two kids and both are in college. Daughter at Oakland near where I grew up, and where three of my sisters attended, so root for the Grizzlies, and son is at West Point, and trust me, you can't have a kid at an academy and not become huge supporter of the school, and all the kids who are there (The Corps). They go through so much every single day, and are committed to serve when they graduate. So Go Army! But always Go Broncos!

Other than our game later today, I'll be particularly interested in these MAC games:

Tulsa at Toledo
We all know that Toledo can put up points but so can Tulsa. Defense may be the difference here and both teams may have question marks there. Most points wins, of course.

Cincinnati at Miami
Was Miami's second half surge last year fool's gold or a peek at things to come? Is this the year that Miami gets over the hump against an admittedly weaker Cincy?

C. Michigan at Syracuse
Was the Kansas game proof that CMU is "back" or just more fool's gold because KU is really that bad? Will WR injuries cripple CMU's passing game?
Each of those games will be big for the MAC. Love to see big Toledo and Miami wins.

Nebraska looked god awful, but NIU also looked great. They looked like the old NIU that almost knocked off Ohio state a few years back. I have changed my opinion that NIU is probably the team to beat in the West.

Great win for the Huskies. They looked good. We need to put on a show tonight.

Nice wins for Ohio and NIU. The MAC is 2-1 vs. P5 schools so far today.

Easy, Tiger. I've watched parts of all 3 Nebraska games this year. If they finish any higher than 6th in the Big Ten West, I would be shocked. They are hot garbage. Just sayin.

They still looked very good in the trenches, regardless of if it was Nebraska A&M Tech.

RE: Which games are you watching?
Watching the CMU-Syracuse game now. Shane Morris has looked a lot better than that first week. He doesn't have much around him though, especially with two more of their wide-outs injured.

It's puzzling that Bono taught special teams in the NFL for all those years and yet ST has been consistently horrible under him at CMU.

CMU players' body language is not good. They look tired and disinterested. They don't look excited to be playing football at all. Players just kind of meandering around.

RE: Which games are you watching?
Halftime now. Cuse up 24-17. So far the teams are nearly identical.

Total yards 218-194, CMU
Both QBs are 11-21 passing
Rush yards are 58-47, Cuse
CMU 2.6 YPC, Cuse 2.8 YPC
Both teams have 3 penalties
Both teams have 2 turnovers
TOP is only 30 second difference

Watched Wagner-Columbia for a few minutes on SNY. Wagner could play even up with your better junior colleges.

Cuse is pulling away. 31-17. Unless CMU can get something going, Cuse will just grind this one out.

38-17 Cuse. Orange left another 14 on the field. Central has no run game, Cuse just bringing the house
