It was 95 degrees (actual) with a heat index of over 100.

Cooled down by the end of the First after the sun set.

People view the top of the MAC as low quality too. That's just the nature of playing in the Conference. Opponent quality should have nothing to do with it if you're a fan. (I admit even I have a hard time getting excited for the FCS game though!!!)

See ya there! I’m Jon, BTW.

Is that the lot kind of by the Seelye Center? My family tailgates at that lot (and sit at a picnic table)

No sheet 13,000 in attendance for the Wagner game supports that notion. We might have 20,000 for the Ball State game.
That 13K at the Wagner game was pathetic. Attendance is one of the reasons why I don't blame Fleck for leaving -> He deserves better. But anyways, sure, 20K sounds good because it's band night so there'll be the parents and the high schoolers.

When you factor in the difference in enrollment and metro population, Minnesota's attendance is even more pathetic.

No excuse for a poor turnout today. Beautiful weather.

We usually play our FCS opponent on CommUniverCity night and it most always is one of the higher attendances of the year. Don't think it was the opponent that dragged attendance down that far.

CommU night always draws well regardless which is exactly why having an FCS team is smart for that game. Not sure if they had a choice in the matter or not.

Also not sure Idaho would've moved the needle much more anyway.

You and your group, as well! Sorry I didn't catch this post until today. When we see you next time, Bruce will catch you up on all of the missed TD Water. And, BOY, was there a lot :)
