Sorry, I know it's going to piss of all the "jersey conservatives" on this board, but these are awesome

For those who did not see the video last night...red numerals are the side sticker on both sides of the helmet like the HS 50th aniv uni...well other than those were white.

Back to the white pajamas look. Hate the helmet. I'm sure the next iteration will be an all white helmet with nothing on it.

i was against these at first, i'm not big on the red numbers, but i think these get as conservative as you can. numbers on helmet. numbers. "NIU" done. though i don't like these stripes that keep cropping up. stripes are odd with our logo, IMHO.

as long as we win, i don't care what we look like.

Did you not like the helmet vs UNLV?

My only complaint (extremely minor) is the "NIU" is not in NIU athletic font.


It should be like the OB uniforms.

I do not like any helmet with just numbers on it. We have a great logo. Use it.

I don't think i've ever seen a person wear all white to bed. Then again I don't live in Alabama.

I'm sorry, I've tried, but I'm not a fan of these jersey's. They don't look like NIU's uniforms. looks more like NC State with the red. I hate the all white with red. throw some black in there. Helmets with just the numbers are dumb too.

I'm not going to crap on these. They are what they are. Just not a fan.

Agreed. For the life of me, I don't understand the strange font on this jersey as well as the current red ones. I loved the NIU font on the Orange Bowl uniforms.

I just wrote to Athletics and asked them to add white as one of our official school colors. Of course, that may make our red, black, and white chant difficult. However, maybe the fans in the Terrace Club can assume the white chant until we get a south end zone.
