We are bringing back the old helmets when we beat Texas A&M back in 1996, for this Saturday against the Aggies. Which helmet do y'all like better?

I'm ambivalent on the helmets, but I do like the old school unis.

I like the script Cajuns

Fleur de Lis all the way imo.

I'm a fan of that Block A one in the first pic.

In all seriousness, I too like the Fleur de Lis. I like simple helmet designs. I'd prefer a logo that is easy to recognize and doesn't make you spend all game trying to read words on a moving helmet.

I like the current UL uniforms and helmet combos, IMO some of the best uniforms in the SBC.

Think the biggest thing with the Fleur de Lis on the helmet is that people would think we are trying to copy the Saints, it's probably why they don't use it on the helmets, they have tried other designs in the past like the tri fleur de lis design, but never stuck with it .

Here is a better look of what we are wearing on Saturday.

Definitely the helmet with the large Fleur de Lis that overlaps the side, but if I have to choose between these two I like the script Cajuns helmet better.

I like them. I think I like the current ones better. I'm just used to those.

We are supposed to have new home uniforms this week, but my expectations are very low after those turd of away uniforms we debuted against Nebraska.

Agreed! Both of those in the original post suck, but if I had to pick one, #2 is better than #1.

When Louisiana does the fleur de lis or the choke pepper, I think they have he best branding in the Sun Belt.

However, the helmets they wear now are easily the worst in the sun belt.

On a slightly related note, I think Idaho has some of the best looking helmets in the sun belt.

ULM is bringing back the P-40 uniforms this weekend at home against USM. Those are my favorites of ours. I liked the tri-fleur design on the Cajuns helmets and always though it was funny when I asked why y'all don't wear those. It was a time ULL and the Saints were terrible. A Cajun fan said, they didn't wear them anymore because it made them 3 times as bad as the Saints! LOL.

I like the fleur de lis the best. better use all the cajun/ragin cajun ones while you can tho before the PC crowd runs out of other stuff to "correct"
