Don't know about the rest of you, but I am tired of discussions about the former coach invading threads involving the current team and our future. It's kind of like that girl you fell in love with many years ago that turned out to be a real whore. ......It's best not to go there with your thoughts any more, and you are much more enjoyable company to your friends when you leave her out your average daily conversations.

There is no one left on these boards that still need to be convinced that some of you think Fleck was the best thing that ever happened to WMU football. We get it. No need to repeat yourself, ad nauseum for years to come.

By the same token, there is no one on these boards that still needs to know just how much some of you disliked the man. We understand, and no amount of repeating the disdain will make you a more pleasant person to have on the board.

No sense in beating the horse any more.
Its dead. Even the flies came and went a long time ago. They are done with it.
We buried it about 9 months ago. Move on.

So.........Please use this thread for all your PJ related comments. If I ever completely lose my mind, I'll come back to it and read them. No need to make any PJ comments elsewhere. You can have them all here in one convenient location.

You're welcome.

Like an episode of the walking dead.

You must only talk about the Peej here.......

Say nothing negative about the Peej

All hail the Peej

We had no culture before the Peej

We never won until Peej showed up

Peej had so much energy

Nekton, Farmers, RTB.........beep beep

Scanlon, Seabury, Lewis, Sims, Day, Bass, Thomas, Little, White, George, Stewart,
Sylvia, Johnson, Harris, McDaniel, Jackson, Billinsly, Stone, Brown, Vandort, Faulkner, Flacco, Underwood, Guzy, Horton, Davison, Madison, King, Pipp, Hampton, Culp, Rogers.

I'm sure I'm missing a few of those stellar recruits who lasted 10 minutes.

This isn't something that is Coach specific... not to mention some left because PJ left... this is normal attrition but in our case over the last few years is that we brought in so many highly rated and valued players the attrition still left us with a pretty good cupboard.

Do we want to look back at the $h1t show Darnell left behind? Now that was an abomination...

It's not normal attrition.

Darnell's **** show took Molde's recruits to two MAC title games. And he did exactly what Peej did. Put all his eggs into getting out when he had it rolling and forgot to restock for the future.

Explain normal attrition during a coaching change in a non P5 program.

Even more impressive we went undefeated and played in the Cotton Bowl.

Dumb position (and you know if).

Seriously get over it, you sound like a teenager.

I don't see why people hate talking about Fleck. Like it or not, PJ and Row The Boat are part of our history, and a very successful part of our history at that.

I was just thinking about creating a similar thread, TBH, because I was thinking that I'm not surprised that Minny crushed Oregon St this past weekend because Oregon St's horrible. Wouldn't surprise me if Minny goes 10-2 or so. With our record last year and what Minny's has the potential to be this season, crazy what Fleck's W-L ratio will look like, taking out our 1-11 season.

I'm still sad that Illinois didn't keep Cubit one more year. It's not like Illinois would have been worse. Probably a bit better. We played them that year.

Would have been Great to see PJ VS Cubit. I was SOOOO hoping for that. Papa PJ would have been gleeful in that win.

His point was you don't have to score a homerun with every recruit, you just need to hit on about 50% of them. Most attrition will come from those who are not contributing or who likely won't contribute down the road.

What happened to this take?

Wow, I said that 5 years ago, you must be a fan 04-cheers

Still holds true. But why recruit'm and boot'm before you even find out what they bring to the table?
