I attended UC vs Miami in Oxford maybe 6-8 years ago when UC had one of their better teams in the Big East. Miami's stadium is a glorified HS stadium and they couldn't even fill it for that game. I'd imagine Miami still has no home field advantage whatsoever, so the oddsmakers must think they're a legitimately better team than UC this year.

Tulsa at home would probably be a toss-up.

UC normally brings 5-8K fans for this one. There have been some years in the past decade where we have more fans at their stadium than they do. They'll have their best crowd in ages for this one as it is Homecoming and they believe this is their year to break the 11 year losing streak.

In all honesty if Miami doesn't win this one (which is a toss up IMHO) I'm not sure when they will again. UC has 49 freshmen on their roster and in its first year of a coaching transition with a rookie coach. Fickell is recruiting at a much better clip and is not in retirement coach like Tuberville was. He is building a winning culture.
