Right, all the games in DeKalb I've seen the only schools that have brought more than 100 fans are in-state 1-AA schools and Navy. I would think we'd see more WMU fans since the schools aren't too far apart. I've been to WMU a couple times and we brought a decent contingent of Huskies fans.

Considering we brought 1000 to 2000 to Chicago, there is no way we didnt have 100 in other contention years. I worked for the team. I have video of our crowds in 2012 and 2014.

RE: Traveling Fan Base Question
For fans to Waldo?
1st is CMU. but that is a rivalry game and is expected. We on our part send thousands their stadium every time too.
2nd is Toledo. They always send a good amount of fans.
3rd is NIU.
4th is Ball St.
After that? Meh. ........outside of parents of the players, apposing fans are nearly non existent.
Back when Marshall was in the MAC and were good, they always sent several bus loads. Also, BGSU sent a lot of fans when they were in the West and good, but not anymore.
Bottom line, I would have to say that Toledo has the best travailing fan base to Kalamazoo outside of our rivals. Props to CMU though as when they are good, they will send more fans to Waldo than Akron, Kent and EMU will legitimately put in their home games.

RE: Traveling Fan Base Question
I should add that most of our biggest games in DeKalb for several years have been on Tuesday nights which just naturally makes it harder for opposing fans to get to the game. There were probably a few situations where a team like Toledo brought more fans than most.

Definitely agree on the top 3, but I was surprised at how many Eastern fans there were at our game last year in Kalamazoo. I'd place them over Ball St.
