I'm thinking 45-17.

5th year starting QB? Yikes. They're gonna get more then 17.

Their QB was effective against us when he was a freshmen. His dad was the Lions offensive coordinator when the kid was at Orchard Lake. He's now the OC at Dallas. Don't think he has much around him, but he's legit.

Week 2, following an "event" game against a Top 5 opponent that players and fans waited all summer to play. And in that Week 1 game, we made it closer than anticipated and got some good press for it. Also a possibility that MSU 2017 (past season issues) and GSU 2015 (no-name SunBelt) were taken a bit too lightly.

I know the dynamics are different. But it has that 'wow, look how we stood tall in Week 1 against a Goliath, and then looked out of sorts in Week 2' feel.

Good comparison. Never thought about this but I think it's not that far off.

Lester said that the Vandals are trying to replace several OL and because of that, teams are bringing a lot more pressure on their QB who is a legit threat. With no pressure he can be very accurate.
