03-lmfao Who is gonna be the first to start a "Fire Lester" thread? Will that end the same way as the previous "Fire" thread went?

God, some of you are so fickle. Last week Lester was being presented with the keys to Kalamazoo. This week he's a bum.

Let's see this team get better week by week.

'WMU is good'. I hope y'all are happy with mediocre. Again I will restate, I hope I am wrong. I will be the biggest Lester fan if we turn things around...in say 3 years.

Why do people say things like this? We are clearly at a different point in our program right now.

Hey, I predicted MSU was going to win this game. But I have to confess I expected more out of our offense. The biggest question mark for me is why our running game hasn't looked better.

Maybe it will in the second half?

Bunch of pansies as fans. Over-reaction central we are.

You'd think we are already down 34 - 0.

Why do people say things like this? We are clearly at a different point in our program right now.

And what would make you think that? We have a QB who hadn't taken a snap in a game before this season and we replaced our entire receiving corp. What 'different point in the program' are you referring to?

Because we've won 30 games the last 3 seasons and returned 15 starters?

RE: Lester = proof that institutional nepotism doesn't work.
He means that we had one great season so we should expect to dominate everybody.

Most of us knew that this season would be a challenge. Every season (like every game) has ups and downs. It may get bumpier if we keep throwing our guys under the bus because they didn't perform to our expectations. Especially guys with little PT going into this season.

Am I disappointed? Sure I am but I refuse to throw in the towel so early and make grand negative pronouncements about the season or the program. That is just stupid. No problem with criticizing. That's expected. Just the over the top pronouncements are kind of dumb at this point.

Have fun. I guess I expect better. Glad you guys are happy...seriously. I love WMU. Perhaps I can invent a reason to dislike Lester. Wait a fumble! Lol
