RE: Michigan Wolverines Game Preview & Open Banter
I hope we just used a vanilla offense and were playing possum last week (d*mn good at it too) and this week we play up to the competition. I can't wait to see if we can test UM's secondary and if the offensive line can protect the QB / open a few running lanes.

I feel like we're not going to have a good idea of what this iteration of the Bearcats is really all about until our next game.

For anyone else who else coaches a high school football team with complete meatheads on staff, this line from that Michigan write-up is the funniest thing you'll read all week.
Quote:The offensive line makes him largely irrelevant but senior running back Mike Boone is a bona fide guy who shows flashes of dude:

This is where by DudeBro comment came from. Yet they refused to give Boone a "star", whatever that means. If I were Michigan, I'd be most concerned about Boone. I guess we have to take it easy on them in Ann Arbor. I'd be concerned with pieces of flair if my program hadn't been turning around many wins the previous several seasons.

I mean, Boone is the only person who will do anything, especially if they start jamming our receivers at the line to disrupt Moore's 2 second throw away clock. With that being said, Gary and Hurst will eat our line alive...so I'm not sure Boone will be able to do much anyways.

Hey I doubt Jim Brown would do much behind our OL vs their DL.

Yeah, I'm going to the game with no tickets and will probably get one for less than $30 in a better spot than the away allotment (top of the stadium endzone) 30 minutes beforehand. That's just the nature of the beast when you have 110,000 seats to fill.
We're likely going to scalp because I've continually hear this. Any chance to get 4 together for a decent price? where's the best place to find scalpers?

It really depends price-wise...I'm not entirely sure what the draw would be for Cincinnati up there, but I doubt you'd have trouble finding 4 tickets altogether for less than $60 or so each at worst, it's just hit or miss with a group that big. I'll normally head up there with a buddy and have no problem getting two at face or below for OOC games or games against Rutgers/Maryland/Purdue/Illinois. I've always had good success around Pioneer HS and in the lots north of the stadium, but don't buy/look on the east side of the stadium...public safety normally hounds those guys and Michigan law states that officers can confiscate tickets sold by unlicensed sellers.
Just checking on StubHub and it looks like there's decent seats half way up in groups of 4 in the corners which are good seats at the Big House for $60-$70, so still below face for the game.
For those going up, I'd bring a blanket/small cushion. Those bleachers get mighty hard, especially when it's looking like a cooler afternoon. Upper 50's to low 60's. Also, if you're not planning on tailgating at your own spot, I would recommend getting to the Park and Ride at Plymouth Rd. That's where I always head if I'm not with a group, much easier and costs about half as much. I think the golf course is charging $40 now if memory serves me correctly from my brother's email. If you're heading to the course, you're kind of stuck going 94 to State, which is going to be a massive headache from about 10am-kickoff, so try to get there earlier...if not, try Washtenaw Ave. instead...that's normally my go to.

I am a loser and am driving up alone.
I bought my ticket from 333seat (downtown) for $122 including all fees.
Section 44 row 28. seat unknown until I pick up the ticket.
You guys are ballsy, driving up with no tickets! (Is ballsy a word?)
DL
p.s. I just want the team to show up and fight for 4 quarters. I don't care about the final score.
But... it would be nice if Hayden would throw the ball over the top. I was at the Memphis game where he threw for 7 thousand yards (give or take...) A pick ,thrown 45 yards, is almost the same net as a punt. Throw the ball deep!!!!

I've headed up to UM with no tickets 6 times in the last two years and only once did I pay above face for a seat. When there are 110,000 seats, you tend to have a lot more opportunities at game time then a UC game.

The UM fanbase may actually be more insecure than the OSU one, they are losing their minds over a preview written by the venerable BearcatsSportsRadio.

If you just want in the stadium wait until 5 minutes before kick off. You will find $10 tickets. I have done it many times at the big house. This game is a throw away for the scalpers. Season ticket owners who couldn't get anyone to go to the game with them will just try to get anything for the ticket. Supply is way out in front of demand for this game. If you want 20th row on the 50 or if it was Oregon or a quality big ten opponent it would be a different story. Look behind the student section. There will be a lot of empty seats.

The score prediction at the end was just an amusing troll job. The remainder of the article takes an honest look at both teams and outlines what UC has to do to have a chance to win.
