Maybe Howard isn't "very, very bad" this season?

Knowing how important QB is i dont think they are nearly as badas they were.

The Mac seems to choke away P5 victories more than any other G5 conference.

Can a Newton, this one Cam's younger brother, turn around a program which struggled to win 1 or 2 games a season in the FCS MEAC???

This one is on the Kent coaches. They have to stop the young Newton, something UNLV utterly failed to do.

Kent can stop them if they play the third brother, Fig Newton.

If Treadwell is on the Kent sidelines next Saturday, I just don't think that's possible. Haynes has always coached up a solid defense there but it won't take much to put the game out of reach against KSU's offense.

Not to be the conspiracy guy but it doesn't help when the refs routinely hose the G5 school.

It also doesn't help to play nearly all of the games on the P5's home turf.

NIU was at home and their coach choked the game away by playing for the winning, I mean tying field goal, in the final minutes. Does this ever work? Off the top I can remember three MAC over P5 upset chances where the MAC team was driving for the winning td in the final 2 minutes and the coach took his foot off the gas, ran the clock and settled for a tying field goal. The MAC lost all 3 games.

As for referring, yes, it happens, I will say WMU got fair calls at USC. Several very big plays were correctly called WMU way, something that does;t always happen.
