Injuries?
I was only able to catch parts of the game on the radio. Heard Eskridge was injured but came back. Also, Doyle (Guard) got hurt and didn't return. Any others? Didn't hear Spillane's name much...

RE: Injuries?
Doyle and Eskridge are the only two I saw. Caliendo played the rest of the game at LG. Hope it's not serious for Doyle.

RE: Injuries?
Doyle's kind of had looks of cramps. Hope that's it.

Everyone will need to hydrate now. And will all be jet lagged for couple days too.

I didn't see much of Jarvion Franklin in the second half, or maybe I wasn't paying attention. Any word on him?

Noticed Kanz in at Right Tackle before last drive. Was Novo injured?

RE: Injuries?
Eskeridge, Doyle and Assoua limping around were the only 3 guys I saw.

Obviously, hope none are serious because they all are important for winning at MSU. Caliendo could probably fill in for Doyle, but the other two would be pretty tough to be without.

That's because Bellamy and Bogan were more effective.

Didn't see Franklin's stats, but he definitely struggled to get going. Hoping for big things from him in week 2 against Sparty

Wondering if Matt Falcon gets some touches he was rated a 4 star at one time. WMU has a load of talent at RB .

RE: Injuries?
As for Falcon, no inside knowledge here, but I'm still not sure he's 100% healthy after the multiple knee injuries. Makes sense to get him totally healthy and maybe he can contribute during our conference games.

RE: Injuries?
Falcon sprained his MCL on Day 1 or 2 of camp. Was supposed to be out a month from then according to players. Probably stays this year on team and then becomes just another student at the school with scholarship like Eric Rogers was last year.

I heard Coach Esposito has gout. Prognosis is guarded.

RE: Injuries?
Pretty sure that I saw Doyle walking in a boot on the sidelines as the game ended. Hope he is OK soon.

You just joined, your rep is terrible, and you're throwing out a name with an injury prognosis. Not buying it.

RE: Injuries?
Then you must not have been at Fan Day in August. He was on crutches there for everyone to see. He wasn't planned on being used much this year anyway with the other backs here but when he went down again although a minor type injury it just showed his knee is never going to heal fully. Just hope he can have a normal quality of life in 10 years walking and playing with his kids.

Game notes for this week:

http://www.wmubroncos.com/documents/2017...SU_9_9.pdf

Shows Mike Caliendo as the starter at LG, with Wesley French behind him.

Looks like Doyle will be out for a while.

RE: Injuries?
Bummer.

Makes it worse when you know he's a terrific young man.

Hopefully he gets a chance to play again this year. Did an outstanding job against USC. He can take a lot of pride in that.
