Now I understand why Roberts got all those TD last year and why Woodside is already way behind his number of TD passes compared to this point last season. However, Woodside and Thompson/Jon Vea Johnson did look sharp. To early to say but I don't know if the Rocket recent string of producing NFL O-lineman is going to continue or not-----still pretty nice to see no rash of pre-snap penalties on the OL----pretty good overall team performance on avoiding penalties for that matter. Nice to see a kickoff return for a TD. D looked OK but I not sure the Elon freshman QBs were a real challenge and I think Elon's #1 RB was not dressed for the game. Rockets running game was OK but only Seymour had an impressive night and that was mostly the 4th quarter when Elon may have been playing with a tired line or backups. Score was about what I expected but I had hoped for a few more "style points" in the process. Didn't learn too much from this game except there has been a big drop off in red zone point production this year but still too early to tell how this team is likely to fare this year IMO. PS---missed the cannon, what gives?

Who are all the guys who don't show up on the roster but are dressed? I saw at least two including an Ashton, maybe and another guy who aren't listed in the program.

I was not on the roster, but I was dressed. It was chilly.

I didn't bother dressing as I thought it would be warmer. When I left for the game it looked so nice out I decided to leave it out all night.

We'll get a much better assessment next Saturday. Defense played well but Elon missed some wide open guys. Offense was good until we got to opponents 30 yard line. Just a lack of execution. I expect the offense to look more productive against Nevada

Their two scores were set up by bad special teams. A muffed punt return and a punt that sliced out of bounds at mid field.

On that shanked punt I was surprised that they had our punter kick using a straight approach when his earlier punt using a rugby style had good hang time & decent distance. I'll be curious to see what happens next game.
