Beginning to receive state wide attention now. The UA AD, Jeff Long, even tweeted support for Wendy. Unusual to see any support from that side of the state but great to see given the seriousness.

Prayers and well wishes for the Andersons.

What stage is the tumor?

Not been said, the only thing that has been publicly announced is that it is Triple Negative Breast Cancer, which means it is more resistant to the usual forms of treatment.

All we know is she had non-surgical treatment from April until Monday when she had surgery and that it is triple negative.

Coach will take leave of absence throughout the season "when needed" but as of today is still expected to be with team for both practice and the season opener against Nebraka

Man, things can sure be brought into perspective in a hurry. Football sure seems trivial sometimes. I hope and pray that Mrs Anderson makes a fast, full recovery.
