Rams Club sets giving record
http://scout.com/college/north-carolina/...-106509866

Donors gave $69,210,000 in cash gifts, pledges and planned estate gifts – a 12 percent increase from the record total of $61,823,000 established in 2015-16. This funding provided scholarships for more than 500 Tar Heel student-athletes, and helped provide facilities and programming support for all 28 varsity programs and all of Carolina's 800 student-athletes. Rams Club membership grew in 2016-17 as well, increasing to 14,726 members from the previous year's total of 13,824 members.

Very nice! What exactly does the Ram Club stand for? Are they initials for something? It seems to be doing well in spite of the NCAA investigation.

The Carolina mascot is a Ram (goat). I think they call him Rameses (sp?).

The Rams Club (The Educational Foundation), Carolina's athletic booster organization, pays all of the scholarship costs of every student athlete at Carolina and has every year since 1938.

Why a Ram?

You ECU guys are hilarious or bored or don't have anything better to do, either way UNC could just use some of the 700 million or so profit they are likely to see from the merged operations of UNC Health & Carolinas Healthcare system?
