UTA has hired TXST assistant Peejay Brun as their new softball coach. she replaces Kristie Fox who recently left uta to be the softball coach at UNLV.

I thought maybe a head coach from some other D1 program but she is pretty highly regarded and was head coach at Dll Hawaii-hilo for a cpl. years. Fox left just recently so maybe uta wanted a quick hire.

She (along with Osterman) certainly helped pull TXST back up out of the muck and mire of the 2013 scandal.
