In a Big XII not known for defense, WVU is probably one of the best if not the best on that side of the ball (them or OU, I'm thinking).

I'm just surprised how slow WVU looks. They don't have the speed they had when they were in The Big East. No Pat White's or Steve Slayton's out there, that's for sure.

I know everyone has been paying attention to the Va Tech game but I cannot believe the Texas A&M choke job. It's one for the ages. Up 44-10 in the 3rd quarter and they lose! SEC! SEC!

great game, vt! Too bad wvu couldn't pull it out.

Now if GaTech can come through tonight it will make the weekend look a whole lot better.

That was stressful as hell, but was an entertaining game nonetheless.

I think WVU will make some noise in the Big 12 this year. They look like the real deal on offense - Grier is a stud and he's got solid weapons around him. The defense looked good at times as well, but the defensive backfield will likely need to step up their game against more experienced QBs on their schedule.

I think Coach PJ is going to love the soft chewy center of the Tennessee defense tonight.

If Butch Jones loses this opener to GT, he better try and drive back to Knoxville incognito. No disrespect to GT as they look pretty tough thus far but the heat was already on Coach Jones to win this year.
