American vs FCS
So the league has 9 match ups vs FCS this year. These are must wins for the league image but there are some tough ones.
Austin Peay at UCF
[b]Austin Peay at UC. 26-14 win

Holy Cross at Uconn 27-20 win
James Madison at ECU 14-34 loss
Southern Illinois at Memphis 44-31 win
Stony Brook at USF. 31-17 win
SFA at SMU. 58-14 win
Villanova at Temple 16-13 win
Grambling at Tulane 43-14 win

They are all at home so hopefully we go 9-0. What do you predict and who could be losses?

RE: American vs FCS
We should win them all but if there is an upset alert it would be:

JMU at ECU
Nova at Temple
Grambling at Tulane

The ** are games against very strong FCS teams or not so strong American teams. Let's all pledge to win these.

Holy Cross isn't a traditionally strong FCS team. Last year they were 4-7. UCONN is favored by 21.

SFA at SMU, really? Curious why you feel that way?

This should be SMU's best team in a LONG time and SFA has not been good the last couple of years - 5-6 in 2016 and 4-7 in 2015. And in both years they finished below .500 in their conference. If they put out a line my guess is we will be a 30+ point favorite.

SFA will play like it's their superbowl and SMU will play like they're playing SFA. There's always upsets, it's football and likely SFA has as much FBS talent as Tulane. I agree it's one to not look past.

I think JMU takes out ECU. The Dukes are loaded with talent on both sides of the ball and play with right type of swagger/confidence to win at ECU.

Villanova's defense is good enough to give Temple fits but I don't think their offense is capable of putting up enough points to seriously threaten us.

JMU also lost 6 guys to suspension as well the first few games. I believe ECU would have won without these guys playing by 14 but now I expect ECU to win by 21+. Go Pirates!

I'm fully aware of the suspension. I just think that JMU is going to be really good once again while ECU will be improved but still not quite good enough take down a legit Top 40/50 D1 team which is what JMU is regardless of classification.

We had 5 of the 6 guys suspended for the semifinal and the National Championship last year. Only our TE will be missing from the NC team, minus the grads

If you're using Georgetown as your FCS basis then you're in for a rude awaken!

Why the hell doesn't Georgetown commit to their program? They've been the laughing stock of the Patriot League for nearly two decades.

Sports outside of basketball are largely an afterthought at Georgetown. It is an academically-minded institution.
