Charlotte, N.C. – Charlotte 49ers junior guard Jon Davis has been invited to two prestigious camps over the next few weeks. First, he will participate in the Chris Paul Elite Guard Camp in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, August 6-9. Then, he has been invited to the Nike Basketball Academy in Los Angeles, California, August 15-20.

"I am really excited for Jon for the opportunity to get to participate in the CP3 Camp and the Nike Camp this summer," Charlotte 49ers coach Mark Price said. "It will be a great experience for him to be able to play against some of the top players in the country. Jon has done a terrific job over the last two years developing his game and putting himself in a position to be invited to these camps."

The Chris Paul Elite Guard Camp is comprised of the top 20 collegiate guards from around the country. Chris Paul hosts the camp each year bringing together the top players at his position to teach them the skills necessary for the next level. Paul is hands-on all week and will work out with the players at each session.

Davis is a heck of a player and from my perspective well deserving of these invitations.

Why so late posting this? Seems by the camp dates that it would have been posted a couple of weeks ago.

Any feed back on how it went for him at the Chris Paul camp?
