Love the Southern Miss home and home! That's often been a solid program.
I think we're all excited for 18/19, but take a look at 2020. That's a FANTASTIC schedule of 1-2 winnable P5 games and winnable g5 games.
Plus, if we get 6 home games, that's 8 in state games. 4 ACC games in 1 year (!!!!!!)
VT, UVA, NCSU, Syr, BG, SoMiss, Umass. I don't care if we don't have a bowl tie in. If we went 6-6 and then beat 2-3 of those teams listed, we're going bowling.

FBSSCHEDULE reporting *Note: Liberty will receive $0 for their trip to Marshall in 2023. Marshall will receive a $500,000 guarantee for the game at Liberty in 2024 (per MU release).

I have seen Marshall state Liberty receives no guarantee for the game at MU, while MU receives $500,000 on its visit to Liberty. Anyone know if that $0 dollar is correct?

More than likely correct. We have money, we need games. Marshall has games available and needs money. 4.5 hours away. Win-win for both.

This is a good list of schools. Some are in great proximity to Liberty and others are in great recruiting areas which help with exposure. I'm a big fan of these and I'm excited to continue the series with UMass to hopefully build a rivalry of sorts as we each could use one.

Whatever happened to the talk with a series or game with the Miami Hurricanes?

I hope we see some Florida schools and maybe some west coast teams on the schedule soon.

With Rutgers backing out on Miami, I thought we had a chance. Maybe they are just keeping it quiet.

2018-2022 is supposed to be done, and announced soon, so we'll find out I guess. We don't have a marquee game for 2020 yet, is that the open slot for Miami?

Either 18 and 19 or 19 and 20. Can't remember.

Just googled it, looks like it was 18/19. We still need two home games in 19, but that'd make 4 P5s (2 at home) + BYU.

As you may notice, the two teams that I root for are LU and the Miami Canes. Let's get that game scheduled.

Maybe they can use FAU stadium as a neutral site game. It would cost hurricanes a lot less than using Dolphins stadium for the game.
They can do it on a week FAU is playing an away game.

If we are able to schedule a west coast team, I'm hoping for Pac 12. I know MWC is more likely.
