Exclamation C-USA teams scheduling Liberty, etc
Liberty schedules home and homes with Marshall (@MU 2023, @LU 2024), Southern Miss (@LU 2020, @USM 2022), and UAB (@UAB 2021, @LU 2022).

Also: North Texas agrees to series with South Alabama. @USA 2024, @UNT 2025.

Don't mean to sound rude or something, but is there a question that goes along with this? Or is the purpose of this thread just to state that some have scheduled Liberty and UNT scheduled USA?

A lot of people have been down on the idea of playing Liberty and yet here are 3 C-USA teams announcing series with them. Half expecting some fans to complain about playing them.

Liberty is a very nice campus, I've got no issues at all playing then. I go to Lynchburg regularly about every two months for business.

Downtown Lynchburg is very, very nice with some modern renovations. It will be a good trip for all involved.

I was there about ten years for a Youth Baseball World Series, and the opening ceremony was in their stadium, which was very tiny. Have they added to it?

We'll have something a bit nicer ready for our special guests from CUSA: http://www.liberty.edu/flames/index.cfm?...03&TeamID=

There are a ton of other teams I'd rather play but oh well. It's a close drive and we will take a ton of fans. GO HERD!

Have fun with that sober football game. Also, Liberty hired the Baylor AD which should be enough to not schedule them.

I'm about as excited about this as I would be watching paint dry.

We aren't paying them anything to come here and they're paying Marshall 500K for the return trip.

I live in Roanoke, so very familiar with Liberty. The expansion looks to be a great add. Good for you guys.

I'm disappointed USM isn't getting some $s to go to Lynchburg.

Just released. USM getting same deal as Marshall. Liberty gets $0 for going to Hattiesburg and USM gets $500K for going to Lynchburg.
