EMU... too tough of a schedule to compete for Access
OU... cupcake schedule to get to 10 wins
Miami and Akron will be improved
CMU with a new era
Toledo and WMU being the only real threats to an AAC champ or Boise State.

If Miami-OH takes out Notre Dame, or Toledo takes out Miami-FL, they can contend for it.

Basically you need a solid OOC schedule and a positive year ahead to be in the conversation as a contender. WMU has that, but @USC + @MSU virtually guarantees they won't. Much the same as someone like Ohio having an easy OOC schedule is virtually guaranteed they won't be able to make it, as it'll take not just being undefeated but also the MAC itself pulling OOC upsets to make their conference SoS stronger -- which if that's the case, it'd lessen Ohio's chances OF going undefeated, too.

IMO, Miami-OH & Toledo have the best chances of making an Access Bowl run.
