RIP

Many of us lost a good friend today. Prayers for Olivia, his son, and his entire family.

First of many guys I met on this board. One of the good guys. Passionate bearcat fan.

I'll post a few stories and pics from road trips later on.

Ugh this is awful. Good guy I had the pleasure of hanging with many times at Bearcat games and bowl games. He was at my house for the immortal Pitt game in Dec 2009.
He was not a religious guy, but something tells me he'll be pulling a few strings for our Bearcats in the hereafter. If we start to see a few breaks go our way, don't discount the Chuck factor that may be involved.
RIP Chuck. And as he'd hope any eulogy about him would end, Go Bearcats.

Subflea is actually the only poster on this board that I have ever met in person. Worked with him for a summer while I was still in college. Quite the character and always entertaining to be around. He will be missed and prayers out to his son and wife. RIP.

I'm genuinely sorry and saddened to hear about subflea. I never met the guy but over the years you kind of get to "know" someone through their posts. He was likeable. Subflea will
be missed.

A story that nobody here knows... In the summer of 2012 I was going through a divorce. I was pegged to plan a bachelor party for a good friend of mine and we were 1 man sorry to fill out our 4 some. Chuck said he wanted to play and drove up to Dayton. At the end of the night him and I made our way to one of my local watering holes here in town and closed down the bar with the girl I was/am dating. For some reason he had beers in a bag and all of us walked back to my house, hammered, drinking beers on the side of the road at 3am and never got a ticket for public intox or open container. I'll always remember the magical 12-0 season under CBK and me, him, Dizzy, Rath, Eastside and Jim all having seats near each other. Looking up after the big win over UConn on ABC and seeing dozens of beer cans (Heineken for Chuck) we had all snuck in and laughing. Such a great guy, inside and out. The Bearcat family lost a good one today... RIP Chuck.

Terrible need about our brother Subflea. Like others, I had the chance to drink a few cool ones with him over a few Bearcat games. A great UC fan, a Navy Vet, and an all around great guy. My thoughts are with his family at this time.

Heard this last night. Last time I had beers with him was at the UC vs OSU with Rath when I stumbled upon them. He was also at some of our tailgates. RIP.

My deepest condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed.

Very sad to hear. Didn't know him personally but he was an entertaining poster. Sounds like he was pretty young. Prayers to his new wife and family.

To the rest of us this is a reminder to hug your loved ones and tell them you love them because you never know when your number might be up...

Condolences to Bearcat fans, his friends, and most of all his family from Herd Nation.

Damn...this one is really tough for me. We had a few great conversations because of our similar backgrounds in sports administration, and we ran into each other quite a few times while we were both going to school since I was always up there being on the soccer team without even knowing who we were until later. Last time I was in Columbus (May) we grabbed dinner. Great guy gone WAY too soon...and I can't believe the timing, he just got married in June if memory serves me correctly.

Terrible news indeed. My condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed.
