On a predicted 4th place finish in the division, I don't really mind that. Lots of room to exceed expectations which gets good headlines as the season and recruiting season play out.

Summary:
- Impression of CLF: Recruiting has been unbelievable. Didn't think he would be put classes like this together in year 1.
- QB Race: Thinks Hayden Moore is #1 guy and is his job to lose. Can lose job if Moore plays poorly and Trail plays great.
- WR: Devin Gray had great first year at UC. Thinks he got better as year went alone. Great 1-2 punch in he and Lewis. Several other guys had significant snaps who produced well.
- Mike Boone: Healthy, explosiveness is back. Team is going to really very heavily on him. Hopefully OL can open holes.
- On being picked to finish 4th in the AAC East: Thinks UC will be better than most people believe. Team in better physical condition and better mentally. Will surprise people.

I hope he is correct. The offensive line looks like a disaster from my vantage point. Based on what I saw last year, Big Country and Keith Minor were the only two that looked legitimate of the returners. I was not real big on Stout either, but many disagree about this. If Jakari Robinson is as advertised, put him in there. We were all pleasantly surprised by our last true freshman center. As for the other two positions, who knows.

Who was the last starting true freshman center?

Yeah, he Was thrust in to action because Dan Sprague sustained a career ending injury on the first day of camp. Not an ideal situation for sure, but it worked in that case.
