Had Louisville won the conference in 2013, you would have a point.

Since UCF came from behind to beat Louisville at Louisville and win the conference, you don't.

RE: Aresco on AAC Bowls
No the point has nothing to do if Louisville had won, UCF had a great year in the FINAL BCS season. The CFP era is what we are in, AAC is not a power conference in the CFP era. I think it is safe to say they have been the best G5 in the CFP era. Does that translate into a power conference, it is still too early to tell. If I had to put money on it, I say not at the next contract. Does it soildify being the tallest dwarf of the G5? Definately. 04-cheers

Like it or hate it is your choice, either way the AAC is a POWER6 league.

Power 6 is in only in the mind of the AAC. Until you all get a NYE/NYD tie-in with Rose, Sugar, Rose or Fiesta, your still G5. Sorry that was the term invented by the CFP, you all gladly accepted and signed up to for CFP money. Your sold your souls with the other conferences. Look at the bright side, you all have only 9 more years to wait to see if the Power schools expand the club. My thoughts, maybe for some schools but doubtful for an entire conference. 04-cheers

I love how everyone including the basketBALL oNLy schools are so intrigued by the Power6 AAC league.

Similar to that love/hate for the Yankees, Cowboys and now the Power6 AAC

Well done Mike Aresco... Keep it going.

Rutgers sucked, and UCF was the champ beating UL on the road. UL did keep eyes on AAC until the UCF game, which helped people notice UCF climbing the ladder rung by rung. Had UL been champs as expected, and the BCS rep, win or lose, it would have been bad for conf. As it turned out, ACC got all it could from year one.
Then UCONN added the icing on top with BB championships.

Says an AAC fan who he himself brought up the "basketBALL oNLy" fans...

Tell me, is the all-caps movement a new hip trend, or something only reserved for those within the AAC? Are we supposed to scream and/or shout #AMERICANPOW6R whenever is used? Are we to imagine that these words are being said through a megaphone? Is it one of those things that - if it is shouted loudly enough - that everyone will finally hear?
