the thing with reducing your carbon footprint allows you to save money and make better use of your time. make it so your pampered ass gets to sweat. especially the car thing. after my kia was mercifully released into the ether (we had her cremated) the wife and i become a car house, not because we couldn't afford it. i'm no sissy when it comes to walking, i'm no ed peyson weston, but i've worn out some boots. freeing up days in the week by combining trips, becoming a bus folk.

3rd kid on the way. Planning on a couple more.

I'm hoping the current Millennial environmentalists follow #1 verbatim. That way, in one generation there will be far less teenagers whose parents have filled them with this eco-religion type crap....

I've said for years that the best way to 'save the planet' involved things that nobody was talking about, like reducing population.... which is what (to me) proved that it was nothing but a money grab.
