I think their last appearance in the MACC was in 2004. I have heard (have not verified so someone may prove me wrong) that there is only one other school that has not made it to the MACC since then. EMU

True. And the big-opener comparison: Although Wisconsin was #4 at the time -- they ended up being a good team, but going 4-4 in the B1G and #23 in the country (9-4). I see USC Definitely being in the Top 10, if not vying for the 4-team "playoff". And we have to go all-the-way-over-there, instead of standard-ops B1G/MAC country.
But at the same time, a good major point is that just because the QB hasn't played, doesn't mean, given whatever situation, can't perform as if he Did start a year prior (like Welsh executed). Thank Gawd we have Lester in this transition, who I assume is going to be helping out Wassink.
