Part of the issue is that Europe is not stoooopid cheap now. Four star hotel in Central Manchester? 80 bucks a night. Two top shelf mixed drinks at a nice bar? 2 dollars (not each, but both). Hotel on the beach in Spain? 80 bucks a night, breakfast included. Airfare from Manchester to Venice? 79 bucks (including the 50 buck fee for the bag). Meanwhile, the US is relatively expensive for European tourists because of the exchange rate.

For the cost of 5 nights in a three star hotel on the beach in Miami, you can travel in style for 2 weeks in Europe.

Eastern Europe is frequently very inexpensive, but the 'hassle factor' can be large. Customer service is frequently Soviet Style.

Why not let us know now? After all, was it not a few weeks ago that you said you were going to Poland for business? Are you admitting you lied about that? If you lied about that, why should we believe you're making this alleged trip in September?
