You go to JUCO tournaments is what you do--just in case they don't work out.

Recruiting, to me, is the lifeblood of a program. But the great thing about working for a guy like Coach Smith is if a player is not interested or kind of puts us to the side, we don't even worry about it. We just move on to the next kid. He's won with less players; he's won with great players.

So when a kid struggles to figure out what he wants to do, we're like, 'Look, you've got a scholarship offer. We're willing to take you if you really want to come. We're letting you know we've got two or three other kids in mind.'

And if they say, 'Coach, I'm gonna wait,' I'm like, 'Well, it's been great. Let us know if we can do something for you,' and we'll just go sign the other kid. We don't have time for that.

Wouldn't that also be a concern for Lomax regarding UF, if it is true he's now a UF lean? Point is, until an offer is extended and a commitment made, all schools are looking for plan A, plan B etc.......

The smart thing to do is to tell Harris to commit and put an end to it. Both players are good and both are from Memphis. The last thing Tubby can afford to do at this point is to be choosy.

Well if you read post prior to that one someone insinuated that Pastner makes promise during his recruiting and doesn't keep them, unless I read that incorrectly. So instead of making something up I used personal experience to give a look into how he recruited. (A hell of a lot better than Tubby btw ?). Ttaylor, one of my favorite posters ?
