Looks like they're be no D in big D!

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/19973...t-play-for

personally I've always said I'd love to see him end up in a GB or NE type situation with a pass heavy offense and elite QB that will spread things out a bit and give him some room to run!

Agree...

He is more Barry Sanders than he is Jerome Bettis. Give him some space and let him create.

I'm sure he's speaking from the heart but at this point he should probably lay low with the comments and just hope someone calls...and I hope that someone is Green Bay.

DW has seemed to ramp up the attention from interviews and social media the last few years. Much more vocal. It's ok to talk as long as you can back it up on the field.

Shrug, he is rich already and having a good time in life. If he never plays football again he has plenty to hang his hat on and be proud.

Really not a big deal, but of course media wants to blow it up. Go and listen to the podcast he did with Adam Schefter.

What does being able to back it up on the field have to do with it? He gave his opinion on Peyton's last year at QB, and if you watched the ESPYs last night you would've seen Peyton even joke about his lackluster performance as well.

He would be a spectator in Dallas behind Ezekiel Elliott.

Elliott will probably make a run at 2000 yards this season.

Exactly, anything he does henceforth is icing on the cake.

I agree that a pass oriented spread team with playoff potential would be the best case scenario.

Some of those teams need help at RB, and would like experience.

His mamma wouldn't let him grow up to be a Cowboy.

I hope he doesn't play again. He has enough money, it won't affect his HOF status and he will retire with a relatively low number of carries compared to most backs his age. We don't need to be reading any sad stories about DeAngelo in 10-15 years.

I'm not even sure he'd be in front of McFadden or Morris for that matter.

At one time I would have wanted him to be a Cowboy, but I think now he's past the point of that for Dallas.

Still, I bet if Dallas called him with the right offer he'd sign in a heartbeat.

DeAngelo hasn't made it until he's been on an episode of Tanked.

Only HOF he's making is the one at Memphis. Good solid career, but he never really had a coach that would utilize him with a bulk of the carries in his prime. Fox was committed to the 2 RB approach (Foster then Stewart along with Deangelo), liked to use a FB in Tolbert, and for the last few years in Carolina, Cam was his QB who runs the ball more than any other QB in the league. It was just a numbers game. Had D gone somewhere else or played for another coach in his prime he might have achieved HOF status. He had that one great year in 2011 or 2012 and the rest were good but not great.

Well, McFadden had a hard time getting off the IR last year, didn't he? Couldn't quite win the #2 job back. I would say McFadden is probably a solid #2 option this year, but Morris - give me a break.

DW filled a respected #2 role for the Steelers. He's still a viable #2 option. He's also a man of personal principles so if he says he's not going to be a Cowboy, I would believe him.
