I would rather lick a dog's ass every day than cheer for this kid. But since I have a lot of money and time invested in Western basketball. I guess I need to wash my mouth out with f'ing bleach after every game. It's going to taste like **** doing just that.

Chill Guns. We cheer for the university. Hopefully this works out for everyone involved. If this blows up what SHOULD be a very good team, you and I can put the for sale sign in Stanz's yard together.

Stanz always maintained that Mitchell was a good kid even after he left. Just that he was getting bad advice from several people that were close to him and going against his mother as well.

He has never had really strong consistent positive male role models in his life. His saga should be a warning to kids about listening to people who have their hands out looking to cash in on you in the pros.

Pretty spot on! Bad advise set all the drama in motion. Ive been told by multiple people that he is a really good kid but could use some guidance with life choices. I think MR would benefit from a few years in school to be ankle to mature as a young man.... and im not knocking MR in anyway. He has a true God given talent at his size, and it would be a shame for him to throw it away because of the wrong people in his ear.

Even if it doesn't work out I wouldn't want Stansbury fired. Till I see different I believe the fastest way to turn losing around is with the current coach. No matter who the coach is. I understand why a coach would basically eat **** and grin with a move like this. If I was being paid $800k I probably would also. Any coach in this conference would do the same thing as Stansbury. I personally just don't think it's worth it . I don't even like the GTs but its part of the change going on in recruiting. My personal opinion on GTs and 1 and done players coming out of high school....

team is the last thing on their mind. Me first. Not all will be like that some will be very coachable kids. But most most likely wont be. Being a fan we don't get a choice in any of it.

Back when Mike Davis was coaching UAB, he basically had Demarcus Cousins ready to sign. But then Cousins requested his LOI include a clause for him to transfer to whatever school Mike Davis was coaching... can you say red flag?
Needless to say, UAB didn't agree to those terms and Cousins signed with UK shortly thereafter. The fanbase quickly turned on Mike Davis and he was eventually fired.

Not that this scenario is playing out at WKU, but I can see where antics like this can make a coach lose his luster quickly.

Tell us what word was that? I am sure an MTSU fan can tell us everything that happened in this situation right? You know everything that went on? GO ahead and tell us...

All Stansbury said was Robinson is a good kid, people were giving him bad advice...He never said no way would not take this kid back, you are imagining things....

Now I am skeptical of course and this could backfire certainly but hoping WKU finally catches a break and this works out...We have not caught many breaks last few seasons, we are due...

Continue the hate however, will be sweeter in the long run...

MR is not the only good player Stansbury has...Now to get all of the guys on same page might prove to be difficult, but we have more than just MR on roster, some talent to go around...I don't think this is close to what you are describing with Davis situation...
