That's pretty cool. When the P5 becomes the P4 and finally officially breaks away as a semi-professional organization maybe the 2/3 of the schools left out can actually have a true, more of less level playing field, NCAA national championship and maybe Memphis can actually compete for it.

Positive press is nice.

I'm sure it'll be explained as the end of the world by the end of the day, tho. Stay tuned.

That USF attendance figure is the biggest lie ever told. Florida State was probably their only game above 10k actual attendance.

Our attendance really needs to average 40,000 + this season in order to show continued improvement and increase financial revenue.

Now we know RC Johnson was a fraud when he kept stating year after year that our season tickets are 20,000!!! We were no where close to that back then....

If we want to avg 40K+ for attendance, we will need OM, UTK, AR or a known power school like UCLA on the home schedule every year - and play competitive FB.

You have issues.

You don't think that day's coming and, when it finally does, (after we all get over it) that it won't be nice to actually compete on a more or less level playing field for a national championship in football?

These numbers are from '15/16 with Ole Miss and Navy on the home schedule. Over 14.6k season tickets were sold that season. '16/17 saw almost 18k and '17/18 should eclipse 20k with price increases. I think the $ will increase regardless of 40k average.
