In the last 25 seasons they have ended the season ranked 5 times and are 8-8 in bowl games. None of their coaches has gone on to a better job and you can argue that the job is a coach's graveyard; a destination job in the wrong way. The only coach that might have done better was Petrino if it wasn't for the scandal.

None of their other coaches (Ford, Nutt, Smith, and certainly not Bielsma) landed an equal or better job after being the coach there.

IF the Black Bears are forced to push Freeze out... don't be surprised if they make a hard run after Norvell and his entire staff!!

That would be very interesting.... Black Bears have plenty of conference money versus us to use...
