Looks like Ross Adolph was promoted to the Fayetteville Woodpeckers this week. Seems like only a slight bump, as they are still A ... or A+? I never did understand all these weird minor league classifications.

Moving someone for A to High A is a good sign this early. If he bumps up to Double within the next season or so, that would mean that the big club is seeing a future with him.
The only issue is that his BA, BABIP, and SOR arent really showing a lot of good news when paired with his lack of power and speed. He'll need to start getting a better contact bat on the ball if he wants to keep moving up.

He gets a lot of triples for someone without speed. Must have base running skills at least. Hopefully gets those other numbers up.
