A Different Way of Looking at Realignment: Regionality

SEC adds Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Oklahoma State & TT for 18.
ACC adds A&M, TCU, ND & WV for 18.
The SEC still locks down Texas while the ACC still gets a slice of it without a heavy western expansion. A&M still isn't in a conference with Texas or Oklahoma while Oklahoma is still in a conference with the Longhorns & Cowboys. Longhorns & Aggies could become another SEC/ACC rivalry. Kansas & Missouri are reunited & 7 B12 teams are still placed. The ACC finally gets ND fully & picks up 4 passionate football fan bases. ACC gets in the Houston & Dallas markets. Texas recruiting is opened up to the ACC. A&M gets teams like ND, FSU & Clemson on their schedule & has the entire east coast opened up to them.
SEC
West- Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Oklahoma State, TT, Arkansas
Central- Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Miss State, Kentucky
East- Florida, Georgia, Auburn, SC, Missouri, Vanderbilt
ACC
South- FSU, Clemson, A&M, TCU, NC State, WF
North- ND, Miami, Pittsburgh, Louisville, Syracuse, BC
Central- NC, VT, GT, WV, Duke, Virginia
We both play our 5 divisional games plus 1 permanent rival & 1 from the other divisions for 8 conferences games.
Why would A&M leave the SEC? Best move they have ever made
To avoid being in the same conference with Texas & Oklahoma with them joining the SEC in this scenario. You have been quite adamant about it.

RE: A Different Way of Looking at Realignment: Regionality
It's not out of the realm of possibility if the SEC were to make the huge mistake of inviting in Conference Killing Cancer and it's friends.
We didn't join the SEC to get put right back into a division of A&M/UT/OU/OSU/KU/MU
It would negate pretty much every reason we joined in the first place.
And yes, the ACC would probably be our first choice as alternative
Though note: I still think the odds of UT or any other B12 school not named OU ever being in the SEC are essentially zero so this is entirely academic
