Braverman on the fence to make Bears roster.

He could very well be a good pro but the Bears won't be able to use him. If you aren't a 6'4 215 lb WR with 4.4 speed, they have no idea how to use you.

Lions could use him.

Where is he? He wasn't on the box score. This is shocking.

Braverman was in a much better position last season. This year the Bears added a ton of free agent wrs who won't require high salaries. Kendall wright, victor Cruz, Rueben Randall, Markus Wheaton and Deonte Thompson. Roster locks are former first round bust Kevin White and last years leading receiver Cameron Meridith. This years camp darling is Tanner Gentry from Wyoming. He needs to climb over quite a few guys to make the active roster.

The Bears cut Phillips, the second kicker on the roster behind Connor Barth, because he wasn’t performing well. I don’t know that the Bears have a lot of depth at wide receiver but they have plenty of bodies. I suspect they added undrafted rookie Alton Howard because they wanted a third team slot receiver with Daniel Braverman sidelined with a quadriceps injury. Howard played for wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni at Tennessee. Braverman is unlikely to make the 53-man roster, in my opinion.

Did he get his degree before he left early? May need it soon.

An already depleted Bears WR corps lost Meredith today. If Braverman can't make it there, he's not making it anywhere.
