Who cares, besides you? He's coaching in Minneapolis now. Share something about Coach Lester and staff. Move on.

Who cares? Clearly people care. Every day I read here how Lester isn't matching the amazing recruiting that we saw from Peej.
If the 2017 class shows up this fall even that class (put together in 30 days) will surpass most of Peej's "Commit & Quit" classes.

Dr Frankenstein grabbed his prize and got out while the gettin was good. People under estimate how much he benefitted from the perfect storm of scheduling and the fact that those in contention for theCotton Bowl-lost giving the nod to the Broncos to represent the G 5s. Granted the team needed to perform as well and for that I tip my hat to the Boyz that wear the brown and gold. They are poised to do it again but this time we will see the offensesive coaches step up and bridge the gap at QB and receiver. The boyz will win the MAC once again with a much tougher schedule.

I don't see anyone questioning our current staff's recruiting prowess any longer after the success of the last week or so. Everyone here is well-acquainted with the axe you feel you continually need to grind with regards to the former staff and the origins of that. But he's been gone for six months now. You should definitely go over to the Gopherhole message boards and let him have it though!

Right, it was all about Peej's recruits, except it wasn't.
Couldn't recruit or develop a QB in 4 years....Stewart, Thomas, Maddie, Wassink, Flacco, Little. Terrell bailed his ass out.
Beavers, Moten, Henry, Terrell, Braverman, Currie, Atkins, McKinney, Zamora, Celiscar. Nahhhh it was all those Peej recruits

Frankly, you people should have bought in on Lester on the last NSD. He did an amazing job with 30 days to seal the deal.
But nooooo all we read was how it wasn't up to the Peej "Commit & Quit" classes of yesteryear.
And then when he started getting good recruits in 18, you all cast doubt that he could keep it going, or that they'd stick till NSD. Only when it was obvious to a blind man that this guy can recruit did you begrudgingly admit that MAYBE he could hold a candle to Peej.

You mean the recruiting that produced the best regular season in program history, the 5th overall pick in the NFL draft, 3 draft picks this year, back-to-back OTs drafted?
I like what Lester has done so far and wish him all the best. But, yes he still has a lot to prove in order to match PJ's recruiting. What's the point of rehashing this?

Terrell played literally every single snap of his college career under Fleck. I think that'd be considered "developing" a QB.
Oh and by the way, the two QB's on our roster battling it for the starter position... Flacco and Wassink (both Fleck recruits).

Somebody developed him, but if the others are evidence of how he developed QBs, I have some doubts that it was the lifetime WR coach who gets the credit.

ChipDip's act is so tired. Just can't let it go. PJ rents space in his head for free, even when he's gone. Unreal.

Yet you've had more traffic in two hours than you normally get in a week, and the multi-IDers haven't even showed up yet.
Don't worry, I'm going back to "real" social media, and you'll have another year to pine over Peej's loss.

Thanks for stopping by and trolling, Dip. Best of luck with the continued grudge, but if you need to vent it again try gopherhole.com. They'd love to hear your opinions on your arch nemesis!

RE: The #1 recruiting class?
I love that Dip is posting. Probably the best poster on this board ever. And while I agree with most of what he says, and much of what he is saying here, he just ain't all that fond of Fleck, and I get that. Character he scores very low. Coaching a MAC program, his results speak loudly.
Although he did benefit by a favorable schedule last year, he took advantage of it when others before him didn't. And he had to deal with unfavorable schedules in other years. He was a tremendous recruiter, and did get value out of those recruits, even if others didn't pan out.
Lester seems to be working it, and without question with Lester we have a guy who everyone can root hard for; which really wasn't the case with Fleck (some deserved, most not deserved at the time). If Lester can take advantage of the momentum our program has, he should be able to recruit and do great things here. And won't that be a story we will love in unison.

So you're grinding your axe to generate traffic? Doubt that, since you grind it over on "real" social media too.
Who's pining over PJ? You're the only one consistently bringing him up. You just can't get over him.
