Is ULL expecting an invitation to join Minor League Baseball?

What will be the new capacity?

The last listing I saw has 4500 seating without the ten suites which are going to be about 200 additional total, but the decks above the right/left field bleacher seating can be used for temporary seating and will also have concession stands that can be added/removed as needed.

Standing room easily 6500 to 7000 there was 5,200 for the 1st USM game and that number is without suits and 3rd base standing room.

Next phase will be a new clubhouse , right field beer garden and a new fence

Phase 3 is building new base side bleachers that will match the grandstand

Do you mean minor league teams? They are professional teams not semi-professional.

RE: Wanna peek inside the new Tigue?
The stadium includes an apparel shop near the entrance, points of sale in the main concourse, at the top of the grandstand and at the top of both bleachers. The main concourse has separate points of sale for food and daiquiris/beer. There is also a stand for fresh roasted peanuts, in honor of Mr. Vic Kilchrist, who roasted peanuts at the ball park for 30 years. He passed during the season at age 95. His nephew is taking over.

There are ten luxury suites, nine for sale (the other is for the Pres and/or AD). All nine are sold at 22,000 per season with a five year commitment. The club level (2nd level) can accommodate 225-250 people who donate at a certain level. Upscale food and beverage are available for purchase in the club level.

You can't see it from the photos, but there are luxury boxes on ground level (approx. 220 seats). That area has a wait staff to bring food and beverages to you. Permanent seating is being installed at the patio boxes down the left and right field lines.

As stated above, there are other phases to go. But we'll put this park up against any. Being eighth in the nation in attendance made this necessary. They came...so we built it.

Any renderings of phase III and the completed park? We are finishing up fundraising for phase 5 and it has been pretty grueling considering we are pretty much at an all time low in terms of on the field success. We will hopefully fire the coach next year (he has a massive buyout, long story) and we can start over. Hopefully your AD will keep trying to fund raise and get the park done instead of kicking the can down the road like we did.

I would bet phase III as following the new clubhouse/office space they will be building down the right field line. I think this will be a multistory building with indoor hitting/pitching facility, locker room/recreation area, and coaches office and meeting rooms. I'd hope they make a rooftop deck as a catered area that someone could rent on a game by game basis. We used to have a section called Lourdes Park (sponsored by a local hospital) that was eaten by the new stadium footprint and contained three or four pavilions of varying size that groups rented. It would still be nice if we could add some decks behind the right field fences that groups could also rent and give some expansion if needed. If it were up to me I'd probably also have these be catered using a variety of local restaurants (who would also be sponsors 02-13-banana) with varying menu's and price points. Anything that can generate revenue in today's climate is a good thing.

From what I am hearing (and this NOT confirmed), the plan is for the new clubhouse/locker room/coaches office building is to be funded from donations from former players. There will be a deck on the second level, but my understanding it will be for former players to gather. Again, not confirmed. But that's what I've heard.

No renderings as of yet. But it shouldn't be long.

Still not sure why the beer garden wasnt finished first!
Seriously, I am so proud of our new park, inside and out. The Tigue has always been a fun place to watch a game. I dont think the major overhaul has done anything to diminish the atmosphere.
