Well three other WAC teams have 3 lower division programs on its' schedule... Seattle U. plays Puget Sound, Pacific Lutheran, and Saint Martin; UM Kansas City plays Haskell, Avila, and William Jewell; and UVU plays Eastern Oregon, Bethesda, and Montana Tech.

I might be wrong, but I think three lower division games is the limit allowed by the NCAA.

IIRC, CSUB played 3 non-DI schools last year.

CSUB play two that were scheduled Whittier for the opener and Life Pacific. They also play UAA in the Great Alaska Shootout who they drew in the first round.

RE: WAC basketball schedules
On a different note, here is how each schedule breaks down...

Cal State Bakersfield... 12 Home/18 Road
Chicago State... 11 Home/20 Road
Grand Canyon... 19 Home/11 Road with one home game in Las Vegas and one road game at Phoenix Talking Stick Arena.
New Mexico State... 15 Home/15 Road
Seattle U.... 18 Home/13 Road
UM Kansas City... 14 Home/17 Road
UT Rio Grande Valley... 16 Home/15 Road
Utah Valley... 16 Home/14 Road

CSUB has a steep hill to climb to get 20-plus wins this season. And, Grand Canyon is almost assured a 20-plus win season with its' schedule... just an observation.

The only way we don't get to 20 wins would be if we somehow had all five of our starters go down.

I'm pretty sure the Vagas game is a neutral court same with the game against StJohn's at TSA.
