Its pretty nice.

Love San Marvelous. Great area for a school.

If I knew how to post pics on this site I would add some from uta
I was wondering why the silence, especially when you could post pics of College Park Center. I've been to a couple of games when y'all hosted the bobcats and I was very impressed - definitely a DI facility that I'm glad to see in the SBC.

Didn't realize Troy campus was so nice. What's bar scene like?

Not great. There are only a handful of bars in town. The most frequented is hole in the wall place called The Front Porch. Been a part of Troy student life since the early 70's.

A new place, Trojan Tavern, just opened up on the square in downtown and offers a great mix for locals and students.

There is a place called The Double Branch, and it's a pretty redneck place. Even by southern Alabama standards.

I like Troy's campus and one of the schools (along with USA) I miss playing, basketball & football. Driving to it you really wouldn't expect what you see when you get on campus. Troy also has one of the handful of hole in the ground (seating below ground level) stadiums that I actually like.

But any campus that is less than 2 hours away from some of the best beaches in the world...it's hard to find fault in. PC Beach is also really cheap for beach/ocean front rooms ($70 and under for most) during football or basketball season.

Virtual Map

I really like the ASU campus since it was closed off several years ago. The newer buildings like the Student Center, Liberal Arts, Bioscience, etc. are all very appealing. The on campus housing has exploded as well. The new practice facility and press box is not shown on the map.

What you can see in the map is just how much room the campus has to grow even more. I suspect there will be a new baseball stadium east of the current one sooner or later and construction has begun on a hotel and convention center where the old track was near the football stadium.
