MyBB Mizzou trying to renew rivalry with KU
“I’d like for that to happen,” Sterk said at the Tiger Club of Kansas City Golf Tournament. “I think they made it a point when we left the (Big 12) that they weren’t going to play anymore, but we’re certainly open to that and I know (new men’s basketball coach) Cuonzo (Martin) will work on that behind the scenes and see if that can happen.”

KU basketball coach Bill Self has expressed interest in renewing the Border War, which Sterk acknowledged as encouraging for the prospect of seeing the Tigers take on the Jayhawks.

Glad Bill Self wants to renew the rivalry. Basketball is very easy to schedule as opposed to football. A series would be great for the programs.

Kansas in the SEC is exactly what Missouri needs to become relevant.
