RE: 16-17 WAC Annual Report
Curious. Only two schools missing from the WAC on the multi-year APR honor, Chicago State (we know what shape they are in), and Grand Canyon. Not going to help you Grand Canyon if your academics are not in order if you want to move to another conference someday. Also didn't see Dwayne Russell for any awards, all American or All Region list. I guess he got snubbed on that list as well.

I call BS on some of the WAC DN numbers.
I think the numbers are fine. Shoot, I have watch the WAC DN on at least 4 different devices myself. I'm sure those get reported as unique, skewing the totals.

I b**ch about the WAC DN too, but in truth, it comes in very hands....especially for being free.

RE: 16-17 WAC Annual Report
Men’s Basketball (per report)
• Half of the WAC’s men’s basketball teams participated in postseason play this year, with three
of the four earning their program’s first postseason victories at the Division I level.
• NM State earned the league’s automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament and fell to third-seeded
Baylor.
• As WAC regular-season champion, CSU Bakersfield received an automatic berth into the National
Invitational Tournament and became the first-ever No. 8 seed to advance to the semifinals.
• Utah Valley and UMKC both won their first-ever postseason games in the College Basketball Invitational (CBI), with the Wolverines advancing to the semifinals and the Roos advancing to the
quarterfinals.

Yah.
"More than four million total views for live games on the WDN" and "more than 250 live events"
That would divide out to 16,000 views per event!
Maybe Im not understanding it correctly. That HAS to include archived events.

I just wish they brought back the WAC DN on Roku and the Android App.
In the report it said the NMSU-Chicago State game in the WAC BBall Tourney had over 91,000 views. I don't think 91,000 people sat in front of their computers to watch that game.

One would think.....that if were true....CSU would have better attendance.

Most sports fans think the WAC died when football left. The only way to view the WAC DN is by going to the WAC Website. Its not like channel surfing for games. You have to intentionally go looking for it.

Believe me there's a ton of people that look for obscure basketball. I do it myself during tournament time. I think you are just underestimating the amount of hardcore college basketball people there are out there. It's pretty easy to find the WAC DN as a new viewer as well, a simple google search will take you there.

I watch a ton of college basketball, no matter how obscure. I love it and can't get enough.
